Bradford has over 1500 education professional members in the Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Academies, Free Schools, FE, HE, Special and Independent sectors.
We represent members collectively in discussions and negotiations with Bradford Local Authority and increasingly Academy chains over policies and changes to terms and conditions for members.
We provide advice and representation to individual members on any aspect of employment and personnel matters.
Contact details for branch secretary Tom Bright and assistant branch secretary Glyn Kenyon are on the right.

Please note that the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Bradford District of ATL will be held on Wednesday the 17th May at the Innovation Centre in the Little Germany section of Bradford Centre (close to the Cathedral and to the Broadway shopping centre). Please note that nominations for District officers and the branch Secretary position must be received by the 1st May, but nominations for other committee positions can be made at the meeting on the 17th.
We have invited our National President Sheila Hirst to give a short presentation on current issues in education, including the implications of the amalgamation of ATL with NUT to form the New Education Union. There will also be updates on the current campaigns against cuts to school funding and to reduce excessive workloads for all education professionals. If you are concerned about what is happening in your school or to your workload then this is the time and place to get support!
There is ample parking nearby and it would be good to see you there.
