The morning was spent organising books, labelling equipment and creating our own class charter of expectations.
This not only engaged the class, but also means no one has an excuse for not following a rule! The day flew by and before I knew it, my first class were finishing their first day and you know what? I quite like them.
At the end of the day I was greeted at my door by a group of existing staff and NQTs who were doing the rounds to check everyone had a good first day. It was a nice touch to end a good day. Feeling: Relieved
