It will cover:
- The legislative framework, including equality law.
- Assessing employers' sickness absence policies and procedures.
- Sickness absence arising from work related incidents
- Fit notes.
- Occupational health appointments and return to work.
The course will be a mixture of small group activities and powerpoint presentation/s with an opportunity to share experience/s and look at case studies and scenarios.
Who this course is for
This course is open to all branch and district officers, and all workplace reps who have completed the induction and three stage course, but at the very minimum have completed three out of the four days training.
