Engaging the Disengaged is a though provoking and interactive event that looks at how educators can begin to engage and rekindle the interest of their students with their own learning.
Employing enjoyable, stimulating and student-led learning ideas, this event investigates how and why some students turn off to learning and how we can use a few simple approaches to reinvigorate our classroom learning environment.
Engaging the Disengaged also goes on to look at how we can begin to develop positive working relationships with our students and the importance of this when reviving a constructive working atmosphere.
An ideal event for all educators this session has been described as “Teaching without teaching”; setting the environment, reducing workload and allowing learning to happen.
