Independent Schools Conference 2017

The Conference takes place on Saturday 11 November, and is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from the sector, to discuss issues, share experience and learn new things. The conference is free to members and includes lunch and refreshment.

AMiE Leadership Conference 2017

Tickets for AMiE’s first leadership conference, which will be held on 25 November, are now available. Speakers include Roger Bretherton, who will be talking about the psychology of leadership, and Steve Chalke MBE, founder of Oasis Charitable Trust , which runs more than 40 academies. Key issues for leaders will be on the agenda: dealing with governors, recruitment and retention and managing change in difficult times.

Annual Conference 2017

Conference is the main policy-making body of ATL. There were a wide range of motions for debate this year, covering issues such as workload, health and well-being, recruitment and retention, and funding, as well as concerns regarding SEND, multi-academy trusts, equality and diversity, curriculum, and assessment and appraisal issues.
